Unit 3 review: “What I ate yesterday”

VOCABULARY… Sausages… Carrots… Jam… Potato chips… Mushrooms… Peas… Pineapple… Onions… Toast… Candy… Tomato… Strawberry… Lettuce… Oranges…

Let’s remember… We use “a” when the word that follows begin with consonant. Example: a banana We use “an” when the word that follows begin with vowel. Example: an orange

We use “some” in affirmative sentences or questions when we refer to something in plural. Example: There are some strawberries in the fridge. Do you want some tea? We use “any” in negative sentences or questions. We use it to refer that there isn’t something. Example: I don’t have any apple! Don’t you have any apple?

How much vs. How many (“¿cuánto?”) How much Uncountable Example: “How much milk did you drink at breakfast?” How many Countable Example: “How many apples do you want?”

A lot of “mucho” Examples: 1) How much salt do you put on your food? 2) I have got a lot of books.
