Now to Wow – Redefining the Local Connection An interactive presentation that will build on the Chapter Leader Summit from December 2016. In that session participants were taken through a process to create possibilities for a new chapter structure using Design Thinking. Participants looked at “what is” and created videos to document some “what ifs” for chapters. This facilitated discussion explores new possibilities for optimizing the local connection by reviewing examples and trends to unearth “what wows” for NCMA.  Peggy Hoffman, CAE President and Association Manager Mariner Management & Marketing LLC

Submit attendance rosters for NCMA webinars. General Reminders PY18 Grant Awards have been announced! The Chapter Excellence Award applications are being reviewed. Chapter Splash Pages have gone live. Membership rosters are posted each month on the Chapter Leader Resource Page of the HQ website. Chapters Connect is typically emailed to all current officers on the second Friday of the month. Any changes in chapter leadership must be reported to HQ. Grant Awards have been announced. Checks will be in the mail within the next two weeks. Highlights and information about what kind of applications were received this year will be made available online. The Chapter Excellence Award review team is hard at work – announcements will be made soon! 44 chapters have been transitioned from SharePoint websites to Splash Pages being managed by HQ. All links in the chapter directory should take visitors to the splash page (if you have one), or to your own custom page that you are managing independently. SharePoint is NO MORE. Splash Page updates should be sent to chapterrelations@ncmahq.org. Full membership rosters are available to all current chapter officers. It is posted every month on the Chapter Leader Resource page: https://www.ncmahq.org/connect-with-peers/local-chapters/chapter-leader-resources. If you are having any trouble locating or accessing the rosters, don’t hesitate to call 800-344-8096. A Member Services Coordinator would be happy to help. Chapters Connect is the monthly email newsletter that gets sent to all current chapter officers. It is our primary way of sharing important updates and reminders with our chapter leaders – PLEASE let us know if you are not receiving it! Any changes in chapter leadership must be reported to HQ as soon as possible. We need to update the chapter records in the database, and website if applicable.
