Simply load your bicycle on the B Bike Rack and you are ready to roll. How does it work... No tricycles, mopeds, tandems or recumbents permitted

Do not fit safely into the bike racks TRICYCLE RECUMBENT MOPED TANDEM

Squeeze the racks metal handle to release the latch and lower the bike rack Loading Your Bike – Step 1 Loading only from curb side Safety First:

Lift the bicycle onto the rack, fitting the wheels into the slots labeled Front and Rear. If the rack is empty, use the slot furthest from the bus. Loading Your Bike – Step 2 Loading only from curb side Safety First:

Lift the support arm and place it over the front tire, not on the frame or fender. Loading Your Bike – Step 3 Loading only from curb side Safety First:

Raise the support arm off the tire and lower it out of the way. Unloading Your Bike – Step 1 Unloading only from curb side Safety First

Lift your bicycle out of the rack. Be sure to maintain eye contact with the driver. Unloading Your Bike – Step 2 Unloading only from curb side Safety First:

If there are no other bicycles on the rack, please fold the rack back to its upright position. Simply squeeze the handle and release before placing into upright position. Unloading Your Bike – Step 3 Unloading only from curb side Safety First:

Safety Tips Use caution when stepping off the curb to load and unload your bike from the bus Load and unload from curb side only Wait for the bus to leave before you cross the street (never cross in front of the bus) Be patient with others loading and removing bikes from the bike rack Before the bus arrives at the stop, remove any loose objects or personal items that could fall off your bike while in transit. When loading or unloading your bicycle, maintain as much eye contact with the driver as possible.

Passengers are responsible for loading/unloading bicycles in a timely manner. Operators are not able to leave the bus to assist with the loading/unloading of the bicycles Bikes are loaded\unloaded on the bike rack at passengers own risk. RTA is not responsible for injuries or damages incurred to the bicycles, personal property or persons while using the racks or riding the bus. RTA assumes no liability for stolen property. Bicycle racks can carry two bicycles at a time and are available on a first come, first serve basis. If the rack is full, the passenger will need to wait for the next bus. (Bicycles are not allowed inside of the bus.) Bicycles may not be locked to the rack RTA BIKE AND RULES

Tricycles, mopeds, tandems and recumbents are not permitted. These items do not fit safely in the bike racks. All willing and able passengers are permitted to use the racks. Children ages twelve (12) and younger my use the rack when accompanied by an adult. RTA BIKE AND RULES
