Able Leadership - always at the top Game 1. Checker Able Leadership - always at the top Unless anyone takes initiation to direct the group, it can not move forward. The more able the leader, the more effective the team

Game 2. Free Fall Gaining trust in others, its not a easy job, but when you get it, things will be easier. Unbiasedness, Understanding, Trust, Mutual Respect make the team more cohesive

Building Trust in a group It brings respect and loyalty It makes interpersonal relation better It creates an easy and learning environment It encourages the group members to share their problems.

How can be trust built? Being Positive Communicating effectively (listen, understand & convince) Fact Sharing Empathy, Cooperation Responsiveness, Accountability Commitment Caring and Respecting

Too many cooks can spoil the soup

Working in team is not always easy, many people face difficulties while working in a group

Other difficulties Burning desire to outshine(overtake) Clash of ideas - no willing to compromise People may undermine others value unequal involvement “Free – riding” may occur Only a few people may contribute, who may dominate the group

Other difficulties Shy and reluctant members can’t learn Different perceptions may lead to misunderstandings The blame game Arguments and disagreements may arise May spoil the relationship Time and resources consuming
