Definitions: Nationalism: feeling/demonstrating an active loyalty to one’s country Conservatism: supporting traditional social & political institutions Liberalism: political philosophy founded on the ideas of liberty & equality

Socialism: economic system characterized by large state ownership of the means of production 6. Capitalism: economic system in which the means of production are privately owned
