Health – The combination of physical, mental / emotional, and social well-being Every decision you make affects your overall health

Physical Health All about how your body functions 8 – 10 hours sleep nightly Nutritious meals 30 – 60 minutes of physical activity No tobacco, alcohol or drugs Good hygiene

Avoiding Health Risks Prevention – Avoidance of unhealthy behaviors Abstinence – a deliberate decision to avoid high-risk behaviors, including sexual activities and the use of tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs; this would also include violent behavior and bullying

Promoting Your Good Health Regularly participating in health-promoting behaviors will help you reach high levels of wellness
