The French and Indian War end February 10th, 1763 The end of this war was because of the Treaty of Paris. The British won. France lost all land.

The Sugar Act April 5th,1764 Taxes on molasses , wine, cloth, and sugar No one agreed with the tax except Britain

The Stamp Act March 22nd, 1765 Tax on all printed materials For example like legal documents, newspaper, and playing cards

The Boston Massacre March 5th,1770 A total of 5 innocent people died. Before it was named the Boston massacre it was called the bloody massacre.

The Townshend act June, 1767 Imposed duties on glass, lead, paints, paper, and tea Americans saw this taxation as abuse of the chancellor’s power.

The Tea Act May 10th, 1773 This act put a tax on all tea. In repeal of this act the colonist threw tea into the Boston Harbor, otherwise known as the Boston Tea Party.
