The emblem Circle= continuity of health care Triangle= 3 aspects of well-being; social, physical, and mental Hands= caring of each HOSA member Colors: Navy= loyalty to healthcare profession; White= purity of purpose; Maroon= compassion of members The branding logo Adopted in 2012 for marketing purposes

The goals of HOSA Promote physical, mental, and social well being Develop effective leadership qualities/skills Develop effective communication skills Develop character Develop responsible citizenship traits Understand the importance of caring for oneself as well as serving others Build self-confidence and pride in one’s work

HOSA Structure: Level I – Local Chapters Secondary (HS) and Postsecondary (collegiate) students pursuing health careers. Health science instructor is advisor Participate in school and community activities and state and national competitions Level II – State Associations State officers elected by local chapter voting delegates State advisor is part of Dep’t of Education Board of Directors governs the association Level III – National Level Endorsed by US Dep’t of Education Executive Council (Nat’l Officers) conduct business, plan activities
