Year 3 Tattenhall Residential 21st – 22nd May 2018

Dates and Times Leaving on the 21st of May at 9:15. Returning on the 22nd of May by 3:30. Children will put their bags under the pergola and say goodbye. Children will enter school as normal to be registered. Please hand any medication to a member of staff with the medication form. If you’d like to wave us off, please stand on the opposite side of the road to the bus so we can safely get the children on board.

Arrival Arrival Children will be given a Health and Safety talk, shown around the building and to their rooms. The children will be shown their beds and will have a chance to unpack their things.

Sleeping Boys dorm and girls dorm. All with bunk beds. Doors are kept open of a night, there is only us in the building! Lights kept on in hall so children can find their way to the toilet. There is to be no food in dorms and no midnight snacks. The children will know where to find the teachers.

Food Breakfast - there is a wide variety for children to choose from. Lunch - please bring a packed lunch for first day. There is a choice for children on the second. Tea - There is a wide choice of evening meals that children will be told about when they arrive. Juice and biscuits are provided during the day and also hot chocolate in the evening. The centre is aware of dietary requirements.

Activities We will be doing a drama, dance and art activities. We will be learning a dance, decorating t-shirts and playing some drama games.

Activities Weather permitting, Tattenhall has a great space outdoors for football and playing. We will be taking paper and colouring pencils. We will also take sports equipment. Children do not need any paper or balls.

Kit List The children will spend a lot of time outside. Suitable outside clothes needed. Outside shoes which can get muddy – not new trainers. Shoes/slippers for inside Children do not need any cameras, phones, iPads or other electronic devices. Toothbrush, toothpaste, face cloth, bar of soap etc Teddy!

Beforehand Form C needs to come back to school by Friday 11th May. Packed lunch will be required for the first day. Please send in a carrier bag that can be binned and name it. Water bottle which can be refilled. Any medication needs to be brought in to school on the 21st in a named food bag– it cannot be left with the child. We will take calpol with us. We will call you before we administer it.
