Rolland-Warner 6-7 Campus YEAR ROUND MIDDLE SCHOOL Information Night February 2, 2017 Taylor

Welcome In the 2013-14 school year, Lapeer Community Schools began to offer the year-round calendar, on a voluntary basis, to students at the middle school level. The year-round, or balanced academic calendar, has a shorter summer with more frequent breaks in order to diminish the “summer slide” in student retention. We are excited to once again be able to offer this option to middle-level students in the 2016-17 school year. Stanton

PBIS Initiatives Continuing the BOLTS tradition across LCS Universal/LCS behavior code Public ceremonies/assemblies for recognition Signage and clear expectations Stanton/Stevens?- Wyatt, I thought you might want to add some of the stuff you are doing with student council?
