Plot: The most important element. Plot The sequence of events in a story. Without a plot, you have no story. There are five elements.

FORESHADOWING: In “Lamb to the Slaughter”: Title of the story. a hint or warning an author includes in a text to indicate a future event In “Lamb to the Slaughter”: Title of the story. Foreshadowing use of lamb as weapon/connection between lamb and something bad/sinister Mentioning that she is the wife of a detective. Foreshadowing her ability to cover up the crime.

Characters! PROTAGONIST ANTAGONIST The main character of a story Mary Maloney ANTAGONIST Whoever opposes the protagonist Patrick Maloney
