Components of a Solution is made up of a and A solute dissolves in the solvent. A SOLVEnt does the dissolving of the solute (making it “disappear”), resulting in a uniform composition. If a solute can dissolve, it is said to be soluble and forms a solution. The solvent is usually in the same state as the solution. A solute can be a solid, a liquid, or a gas. A solvent can be a solid, a liquid, or a gas.

Diluted: Concentrated: Saturated: It measures how much solute is in the solvent. Diluted: Concentrated: Saturated: low concentration of solute present in the solution high concentration of solute present in the solution cannot dissolve any more solute

What makes up this mixture? Look at the experiment results and determine if a solution has been made. If it has, then decide which substance is the solvent and which substance is the solute.
