Copyright © Texas Education Agency, All rights reserved. Line Levels Line levels are used in several applications. If the task doesnt have to be 100% or certified, you may use a line level. Possible uses:1.) Installing Fences 2.) Laying Rock 3.) Quick Check Grade

Stanley Masons Level Mason level is used for Brick, Rock and CMU (Concrete Masonry Unit) Block leveling. These levels are more expensive and built for masonry use. Using Levels Break class into groups, assign levels to groups Provide a map of classroom, shop or other objects. Have student go to different locations on map and check for level and plumb. Provide an answer sheet for them to use. Have some objects intentionally out of plumb and level, this sheet can be used for a daily grade. Ask and answer questions during this portion of the lesson.
