How important is my GPA? Your Grade Point Average (GPA) is the second half of graduation You must have at least a 2.0 weighted cumulative GPA to graduate Every class you take counts – including HS credits taken in middle school Every D (1 point) or F (0 points) reduces your GPA and hurts your chance for a successful graduation Honors and AP classes count more than regular!

Graduation Requirements 1 Credit of HOPE 1 Credit in the Arts or Vocational Field 8 Elective Credits An Online Course Credit Total=24 Required Credits

Review Your Graduation Requirements By graduation, incoming 9th graders must have… 24 total credits 4 English credits 4 Math credits including Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II 3 Rigorous Science credits including Biology 3 Social Studies credits including World and US History as well as Government and Economics 1 PE credit (HOPE) 1 PF/PA/Fine art credit

Promotion into 10th Grade  5 Credits required Must pass English or Math Tenth (10th)

More Graduation Requirements At least ONE online course as part of the 24 credit total Pass 10th grade FSA Reading Pass End of Course exams for Algebra, Geometry, and Biology Have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 or better
