What Is TransNet? ● A WinTen 2+ module that sends electronic 50058 records to PIC ● Advantages: PHA PIC ► Automated submission to PIC ► Comprehensive error checking with full descriptions and solutions ► Real-time reports for late re-examinations and HQS inspections x

TransNet Error Checks ● Field Data ► 50058 data in WinTen 2+ is missing or incorrect ► Checked by WinTen 2+ when certification is finalized ● Tenant ID ► Last Name or Birthdate does not match the SSN on file with SSA ► SSN, Last Name or Birthdate is incorrect in WinTen 2+ ● Record Match ► Wrong transaction or date is submitted to PIC ► Records must be sent in correct order based on Effective Date Annual Re-Exam Certification Effective Date: 8/31/2016 End of Participation Certification Effective Date: 8/15/2016

1- Finalize Certification Successful certification:

1- Finalize Certification ● To view submission status of certification, click eTrans tab on Household screen. ● Submitted Date and Ticket number are empty until certification is submitted to PIC.

2- Correct Field Data Errors Any Field Data errors are displayed and must be corrected before certification can finalize.

3- Gather 50058 Records To open TransNet, search for transnet on Home screen, then click TransNet – PIC menu.

8- Correct PIC Errors Refer to Validation Report printed in Step 5.

8- Correct PIC Errors There are 3 parts to every item on the report: ● The 50058 that was submitted ● What is wrong with the record ● The solution for fixing the record

8- Correct PIC Errors Tenant ID Error ● Matthew’s SSN does not match SSN on file at SSA. ● Pull SS card from file and review it. Correct it in WinTen 2+ if applicable. Otherwise, tenant must contact SSA to correct problem.

8- Correct PIC Errors HQS Inspection Warning ● Last annual HQS inspection is > 24 months prior to this record. ● Review inspection file and enter current annual inspection in WinTen 2+.

8- Correct PIC Errors Record Match Error ● Household had EOP from other PHA, but you sent a Port In from your PHA. ● Change the Port In to a New Admission.

8- Correct PIC Errors Field Data Error ● Next Annual Re-exam is > 13 months later. ● Change Re-exam date to 12 months.

8- Correct PIC Errors To correct a certification, choose Correct or Void Certification from Big Actions menu.

8- Correct PIC Errors ● Enter these values in Correction Wizard. ● Click Next button.

8- Correct PIC Errors Make correction. This was the Field Data error where Annual Re-exam was > 13 months.

9- Generate PIC Errors ● Double checking for errors possibly missed. ● Click Tickets button to see prior submissions.

9- Generate PIC Errors Click Retrieve Error Report from PIC button.

9- Generate PIC Errors Download is done. Click Yes to exit wizard.

9- Generate PIC Errors To view PIC Error Report, choose PIC Error Report w/o Warnings from Reports menu.

TransNet Setup ● Submission problems can arise if TransNet is not properly set up. ● The most common problem: TransNet cannot connect to PIC due to incorrect user ID or password. ● Before accessing Setup, log onto PIC website to verify your user ID and password. PHA PIC
