The Attack on Pearl Harbor WWII

On Sunday, December 7, 1941 Japanese warplanes bombed the huge American war base at _Pearl Harbor in Hawaii.

Before the day was over, about 2,400 servicemen and _civilians_- died. Many ships on “Battleship Row” and airplanes at Hickam Airfield were destroyed and/or damaged. * Look for the U.S.S. Arizona on the next slide.
