3 What happened during the attack?
Hundreds of Japanese fighter planes attacked American naval base at Pearl Harbor In just two hours; 20 American Naval vessels, enormous battleships, 200 airplanes, more than 2,000 American soldiers died, another 1,000 wounded After attack President FDR asked Congress to declare war on Japan Japanese barely gets hit by anything

4 Conclusion Americans had no type of chance after the 2nd wave most of their people were gone Japan had very little damage done to them December 8th, 1941 they declare war on Japan Americans loose and declare war the next day with Britain against Japan

5 Interesting facts Only ⅔ waves were sent out because Americans were already done None of the American aircraft carriers were on board The “code” was changed so no one could intercept them at the last minute
