Presentation transcript:

No Warm-Up 4/24/17 Good morning!  We have 24 school days left this year! You do NOT need your notebooks today. You can choose your seat today; please do not move the desks or chairs around. You need to be in groups of at least 3 people, but no more than 4 people. You need your vocabulary slips from Friday- we are going to check them the first 10-15 minutes of class.

Announcements/Reminders We are working on EOC Review materials in class today and will be reviewing through Friday. Please note that daily grades based on behavior and participation will be taken. 5 School Days Remain until the U.S. History EOC. Monday, May 1st is the scheduled date. **Unit 12 Test grades are still not available. Please be patient, I am working on entering them when I have time.** Unit 12 Test Corrections will be during tutorials after school next week; OR if you absolutely cannot come in after school, Thursday in class this week.

Odd One Out Stations Activity Directions/Expectations You should be seated in groups of 3 to 4 people. No one is going to be allowed to work solo today- we are collaborating and working together. 2. In your groups, number off 1 through 4. Each number goes to a different corner of the room to form Expert Groups with the other (1’s, 2’s, etc). 3. Focusing on their assigned picture, Expert Groups “brain dump” at least 5 big ideas using academic vocabulary and write the ideas on the back of the handout. 4. Students return to their Home Groups and have 1 minute each to share their 5 ideas. 5. Home Groups come to a consensus to answer: Which picture is “Odd One Out?” Justify your response. **Behavior: I expect every person to participate and I also expect you to work together while following the classroom norms.
