Loose Leaf Paper – Graphing and Lined Pens and pencils Colored pencils Pencil Sharpener with Cover Highlighters Metric Ruler Calculator (not your phone) Pocket Folder 3x5 Flash Cards To be replenished as needed!!

5 Beginning Of The Period:
Please wait outside the classroom until I let you in. Once I have let you in, sit in your assigned seat and begin your bell work. You must be sitting in your assigned seat BEFORE the bell rings to avoid being tardy! Back packs must remain on the ground. They may not be on the desk or on your lap.

6 After you complete your bell work:
Write homework assignments and announcements in your planner. Take out your homework and have it ready to pass forward.

7 End Of The Period: I dismiss you, the bell does not. I will dismiss the class when work is completed and turned in, lab stations are cleaned up, trash is off the floor, ALL materials are accounted for, and ALL STUDENTS ARE SEATED IN THEIR ASSIGNED SEATS.

8 Creating Class Norms Write down five norms that are important in a classroom. Pass your paper to the right. Choose the 3 best norms from the paper that you are holding and place a star next to them. Continuing passing around group, until you receive your paper back.

9 As a group, decide on the most popular rules – one per member of group (it does not have to be from your own list). Assign each student will one rule and create a poster for that rule. Extra Credit will be given to students if their poster is posted on the wall. We will create our class rules from the most popular rules gathered throughout the day.
