5 Missing Work Policy Explained
When a student is absent, his/her grade in PowerSchool is not affected if the assignment is turned in a timely manner (yellow missing symbol) When a student is here and should have turned in the assignment, he/she receives a 1 in PowerSchool and the assignment is marked missing and late (yellow “m” and red “l”). When the work is turned in, the grade goes up dramatically. When an assignment is marked with a 0, it may no longer be turned in. Every other Monday students receive missing slips, and the assignments are due by Friday or they become a zero. Lunch and possible x-time will be spent with me on Thursday and Friday if not in by then. Zero zeroes for the last two years. 
