Important Information:
It was nice to see many of you last night. If you were not able to make it, I have sent home a packet of information with your child today.
Scholastic Reminder: If you would like to place a book order please do so by Saturday evening 9/8. I will place the order on Sunday.
Daily 5: We are building our stamina in Read to Self! We are also learning new reading strategies together!
Candy Sale- Students will be sent home with candy Friday the 21st unless you have made other arrangements.
Oral Presentations! These are due on Monday! I have modeled how to do the presentation many times in class. Please make sure that your child practices over the weekend. Remember they need to bring in some sort of visual. This could be a picture, drawing or any item that goes with their speech.
Volunteers are welcome in First Grade! We need volunteers on Thursday mornings. I had some volunteer forms out last night. If you would like one please just ask! Remember you must have your BCI and Protecting God’s Children forms turned into the office.
Speaking of volunteers……..We are in need of helpers for COSI Day. It is on 9/18. Please let me or the office know if you can help. Mrs. Dennet is the chair person and you can contact her as well.
