1 Mrs. Kane’s Classroom News September 9-13th, 2019
SHEF (Summit Hill Educational Foundation) is looking to expand its membership! SHEF has given over $2 Million in awards to District 161 schools since its founding. Please consider joining this very important group! Students went home with their 2nd Friday Folder and Behavior Report. Please remember to sign the behavior report and return with their Friday Folders on the following Monday. Last week started our first month of Room 193’s Homework Club. If your child missed an assignment, they still have the opportunity to participate in our 4th grade homework reward through ROGUS letters. Students can earn this reward if they have at least one letter left at the end of the quarter. Please encourage your child to do their best to get homework completed on time. All homework is written in their assignment notebooks nightly. As a model, I write homework in my assignment notebook at the board and they are to copy down the assignments into their notebook.
