The Mighty Bison

Inherited Traits The mighty bison has two coats of brown hair to keep it warm in the winter. It sleeps during the night. It eats grass and berries.

Special Features The bison uses his mouth to eat strong plants. The mighty bison uses it’s eyes and ears to sense predators.

Where does it live? It lives in North America It lives in grasslands and forests.

Behaviors When it gets warm, the bison shed it’s hair. The bison migrate when it gets cold. The bison help each other stay warm by huddling close to each other When it gets warm, the bison shed it’s hair.
