2 HEADING 1: RACCOONS ARE AMAZING
WOW! A raccoon! Did you know raccoons are not truly nocturnal? Raccoons are known to have black masks, too.

3 HEADING 2: RACCOONS APPEARANCE
Some appearance features about the raccoons below. Raccoons have a ringed tail from the color of their fur. Also, raccoons have very strong and sharp teeth. Another cool fact about raccoons is that they have round ears. Raccoons have the colors of brown, gray, black, and yellow on their bodies. The average male raccoon weighs pounds. In addition, raccoons have bright black eyes. One last fact about the raccoon’s appearance is that raccoons are 12 inches from the ground to shoulder.

4 HEADING 3: RACCOON’S BEHAVIORS
Raccoons have many interesting behavior traits. One trait is raccoons like to explore new places. Another trait is that is that raccoons are sometimes vicious. Additionally, raccoons are great swimmers. A really cool behavior about raccoons is that they climb trees really well. One last behavior is that raccoons hold food in their hands before they eat.

5 HEADING 4: A RACOONS HABITAT
Raccoons live in a very awesome habitat. They usually live in North or South America. Furthermore raccoons live near sources of water. Cities can also be home to some raccoons. Their homes are called dens.

6 HEADING 5:RACCOON’S DIET AND PREDATORS
An amazing fact about raccoons is that they will eat about anything. Raccoons look for garbage cans to eat from. A raccoon is an omnivore. Two predators of the raccoons are wolves and humans. 7 HEADING 6:RACCOON’S LIFESPAN AND FAMILY
A raccoon lives up to five years in the wild. When a raccoon is in a zoo, they live for about fifteen years. Another fact is that a raccoon’s litter is about three to four kits. Baby raccoons leave their mother at ten weeks old. Raccoons live alone for most of their lives.

8 HEADING 7 : OTHER UNIQUE FACTS
A really amazing fact is that raccoons can be trained as pets. A male raccoon is larger than a female raccoon. Raccoons babies are called kits. A sad fact about raccoons is that humans sometimes them for their fur.

9 HEADING 8: RADIOACTIVE RACCOONS
Now you know raccoons are amazing creatures. Maybe a raccoon lives near you. The animal with the black mask is running away! I think raccoons are awesome creatures.
