They have very strong social bonds and live in family groups. Elephants are excellent swimmers. African Elephants have large ears. The trunk is also used to get water and food. Elephants eat roots, grasses, leaves, fruit, and bark. They can eat up to kg of food each day.

They are most active at night and sleep during the day hanging upside-down. There are over 900 different species of bats. During the cold winter, some bats migrate to a warmer area.

It has a long, tapered, triangular-shaped snout. Crocodiles swim very well. Adult American Crocodiles are gray-green, dark olive, or grayish-brown. They grow up to 4.6 m long. They eat fish and other animals near the water, turtles, snakes, crabs, small mammals, and birds.

Monkeys can live up to 45 years in captivity. Monkeys live in forests, grasslands, high plains, and mountain habitats. Monkeys eat leaves, fruit, seeds, nuts, grass, roots, eggs, insects, spiders, and small mammals. Monkeys have long arms; their five-fingered hands and feet have opposable thumbs.

22 The African Gray Parrot is a very talkative, intelligent, and sensitive bird.
African Gray Parrots eat seeds, berries, nuts, and fruit. In the wild, this parrot lives in large flocks. These parrots have gray feathers, white patches around the eyes, and red tail feathers.
