Developing a sound outlook in life

Introduction “Life is what we make it” says a poet. This means that life can be happy or sad depending on how you live it. To be successful in life you must have to meet challenges. At this time of your life you should have your own philosophy of life. Your philosophy of life helps you solve problems and make decisions. It directs your behavior at home, in school and in your community.

Introduction Your outlook in life starts taking shape in the family. As you grow older, you begin to adopt thinking, reasoning and reactions of your family which you apply in relating to others. Soon your outlook broadens to include a remarkable teacher who influences you in making life better for yourself and for others. Develop great faith in the Divine providence. Having faith to Almighty God will give you hope that all your needs and aspirations will be answered.

Steps: Don't accept disrespectful treatment. If you find you're being dismissed by teachers and/or bullied at school, begin behaving in a manner that commands better treatment. If there are affiliation fights, don't get involved. If you have a bad relationship, do your best to recognize that that person has their own problems, and don't make those problems yours.

Steps: Interact with people Be nice! Sometimes it's hard to feel vivacious, but remember that attitude has a lot to do with how you fee Express yourself with friends or teachers or acquaintances. Improve your speaking skills, articulate your ideas and opinions, and keep with the flow Keep your self-esteem high. If it is low, do something to improve it.

Tips: Get yourself into shape physically. Exercise! If you think you might be depressed, talk to a counselor or physician for appropriate treatment. Consider involvement in a religious group. Finding a faith you can depend on can truly help in times as difficult as you are probably going through now. Think of all the people in the world that don't have what you have or the opportunities that you have if you live in a country of freedom and rights for the people.

Tips: Development made up to the current situation Important background information Original forecasts which turned out to be wrong Original forecasts which turned out to be true

Warnings: Be careful not to pick fights with those treating you poorly. If stress is so crushing that you cannot deal, call a help line, and don't hurt yourself or anyone else. If you are a victim of domestic or sexual abuse, Get help! Nobody has the right to abuse you, but you have to find the courage to speak out. Suicide is never the answer.

Things you'll need: The will to change your life The willingness to communicate calmly Hope for the future to be better Source: http://www.wikihow.com/Improve-Your-Outlook-on-Life
