Then the First God, Atum, created himself from the waters of Nun. (He was later associated with the gods Amun and Ra) Amun “the hidden one” Atum “the complete one” Ra “the sun”

Atum then created the twins Shu, the God of Air, and Tefnut, the Goddess of Moisture, who together created Geb, God of the Earth, and Nut, Goddess of the Sky.
