Selling Points
Leadership Communication Collaboration Commitment Change Attend National, district, and area meetings Communication Frequent emails, newsletters, phone calls, etc. Collaboration Members must be valued and involved Commitment Motivate members through sharing timely information about the goals, initiatives, and accomplishments of International, District, and the club to create an atmosphere of commitment. Change Members must be ready for change as new members are added!
Challenge: Each Zontian has at least 1 friend or family member who would be a good Zontian. Remind your members that we must grow to remain stable, as we are going to lose members due to aging, transfers, etc.
---Invite prospective members to a meeting when you are having a speaker or are initiating new members, or when you have an interesting or informative agenda. Your job is to “sell” the wonderful aspects of Zonta membership!
---provide prospective members with information about your club, about District, and International (websites, newsletters, brochures)
Becoming a member of Zonta You should be able to answer yes to the following questions to be considered for membership: I am willing to commit time to service and advocacy projects in my community.
