How to engage your club and center in a mutually beneficial relationship Currently, on the VP of the board for CAP Center and Immediate Past District President.

2 Our national project: The prevention of child abuse
In ,under national president Dr. Edward North Jr, exchange adopted the prevention of child abuse as its national project Every club should consider being involved in the prevention of child abuse

3 Child Abuse Prevention Centers
There are 70 exchange club parenting centers across the country in 26 states Along with an additional 14 affiliate centers Exchange parent aide model Believe in the blue Child abuse prevention month The national exchange club provides a community answer through the network of exchange club child abuse prevention (CAP) centers and the exchange parent aide program.

Exchange can grow with the success of CAP Centers CAP Center can grow with the success of Exchange Clubs The more our Exchange & CAP Centers Grow the Greater Impact Nationally and Larger our Collective Impact on Child Abuse Prevention. 11 Developing Collective Public Relation Campaigns for CAP and Exchange
Recognize CAP centers & exchange serve communities Show others that without membership, donations, and volunteerism CAP centers & exchange cannot survive and continue serving communities Reach out to community promoting centers and clubs Implement a promotional strategy including logos, banners, and publications for both exchange and CAP centers Reach out to community promoting Centers and Club. Centers promoting Exchange Clubs and Exchange Clubs promoting Cap Centers. When taking or writing about your Center or Club make sure reference both organizations Promoting and Publicizing with a Common Goal Child abuse prevention centers-can highlight and publicizing everything exchange clubs do for the center and promote the value of being a member of Exchange. Exchange Clubs- can Fundraise for CAP centers publicize why they are valuable to Exchange and the community and they can promote all the good work done by child abuse prevention centers.

12 Child Abuse Prevention Marketing Tools
Exchange provides a variety of public awareness materials, designed to help inform and increase awareness of child abuse and how it can be prevented. These are used in conjunction with Exchange Clubs and Exchange Club Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Centers.

14 Building a Mutually Beneficial Relationship
Maintain “quid pro quo” type of relationship Consider the value of a partnership and having another organization to help you achieve your goals Collectively participate in events Work together to find potential members, volunteers, and donors This mutually beneficial relationship must exist for a success Maintain “quid pro quo” type of relationship Clubs need to consider the benefits of centers to member recruitment & PR. The Center and Club relationship should never be one-sided and there should always be a give and take. Consider the value of a partnership and having another organization to help you achieve your goals Clubs need to see the positive effect on the community Collectively participate in events Clubs need to raise the visibility of Exchange in their communities and this can be achieved with collective Club and Center Events. Work together to find potential members, volunteers, and donors Clubs need to engage with centers & community to grow Exchange This mutually beneficial relationship must exist for a success Clubs should consider the benefits of always be involved in the local centers
