Terms of Reference of PR Define the key issues facing health and social care; Identify where change is needed and the case for change; Set out a vision for the future including moving health and social care forward together, developing primary care services out of hospitals; and Advise on how change can be delivered, building on the positive aspects of the current system. Four Nations Overall aim: Comparative systems review and thematic policy analysis of public health across the four constituent countries of the UK Requested by Association of the Directors of Public Health Led by School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) With Registrars from Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England. Objectives To provide an overview of the public health system and to explore how and why this has evolved differently in each country Compare similarities and differences spanning health improvement, health protection and healthcare public health Examine similarities and differences in public health policy to address how specific issues are translated into practice Identify areas of good practice and opportunities for public health system strengthening Claire Beynon
