Water Treatment Total Solution Outline Business Division Water Treatment Total Solution Outline PRE TREATMENT SYSTEM Generally, the pretreatment system is composed of a whitening filter, anthracite filter, activated charcoal filter, micro filter, etc., and removes particulate matter, smell, turbidity, organic matter, iron oxide and manganese contained in raw water, It is a system that performs the protective role of the downstream equipment. WATER SOFTENER Generally, it prevents scale of pipe by removing hardness component (Ca, Mg, Na) contained in water and is widely used for pretreatment of cooling tower reverse osmosis unit, boiler water, domestic water. DEMINERALIZER It is used for coatings, plating, pharmaceuticals, semiconductor, food / beverage plants, etc. that require pure water. In general, ion exchange resin is used and pure water is produced by replacing cations and anions contained in water. REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM A system for separating more than 99% of metal ions, bacteria, particulate matter, etc. using a reverse osmosis membrane having particles of 0.0002 micron in the solvent and solute contained in water, and a seawater desalination system employing this system is representative. ELECTRO DE-IONIZATION SYSTEM A system for producing ultrapure water (18.2 MΩ) used in semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and electronics, is a total system of the devices described above and ultimately utilizes an electrodialysis deionization system.

Pre Treatment System System Features The pretreatment system fills the pressure vessel with sand, activated carbon, anthracite and gravel to allow water to flow from the top to the bottom. At this time, remove the smell, organic matter, turbidity, iron oxide, particulate matter, etc. contained in the water. At this time, the foreign matters accumulated in the filter material are backwashed and pressurized and discharged from the lower part to the upper part to automatically control all processes. In general, the pretreatment system plays a role in the primary treatment of the water softening system, reverse osmosis system, seawater desalination system, deionization system, and ultrapure water production system in the water treatment field.

Water Softener System Features Generally, the water softening device is filled with Na-type cation exchange resin in the pressure vessel, and the hardness component contained in the water the water softened is used in a wide range of fields such as industrial boiler water, factory cooling tower supply water, domestic water, swimming pool, etc. When the substitution ability of the ion exchange resin becomes saturated, It is a system that is used repeatedly. It is a system for removing hardness components in water by a pretreatment process such as a reverse osmosis device and a deionization device together with use field.

Demineralizer System Features The mixed-bed deionization unit is filled with strongly acidic cation exchange resin and strongly basic anion exchange resin in the pressure vessel. It exchanges the inorganic metal ions contained in water and ion-exchanges with H + and OH- to produce pure water. It is used in a wide range of production fields such as pharmaceutical, plating, coating, semiconductor, etc. It is regenerated with hydrochloric acid and caustic soda and used repeatedly. It is automatically controlled to provide convenience for administrators.

Reverse Osmosis System System Features Separating the high-degree water and the low-concentration water into a semipermeable membrane, the solvent is moved from the low concentration to the high concentration solution for the concentration parallel. This phenomenon is called osmotic phenomenon, and the difference in water level occurring at this time is called osmotic pressure. Applying a pressure higher than osmotic pressure to the high concentration solution side, pure water is produced by the principle that the solvent moves toward low concentration. The reverse osmosis unit maximizes the convenience of the manager by designing the optimal system by automating all the processes by controlling the high pressure pump, the supply quantity, the discharge quantity, the production quantity and the pressure.

Electro De-Ionization System System Features EDI system is the best technology system to produce ultrapure water without chemical regeneration process unlike the pure water manufacturing system using the mixed-phase deionization device. The solution in which the ion exchange resin is filled in the pressure vessel is desalted by the ion exchange resin, and the ions are concentrated and discharged by the cation exchange membrane and the anion exchange membrane, and 18.2 MΩ of ultra pure water production. It is used in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, power plants and cogeneration plants.
