Question #1 How does child labour affect the economy and how does the economy affect child labour?

Question #1 When prices dropped for coffee all south American coffee farmers went bankrupt and had to send their kids into labour .child labour is mainly used in 3rd world countries to support the creation or collection of an ingredient for manufacturers, like mica

Question #1 If the source of income in the family is affected say a working parent dies or is unable to work the chance for child labour increases It is agued that eradication would not be preferable due to the fact it increases so many living standards, but should be controlled so it does not harm the child

Question#2 How was child labour shined upon in the Nabataea golden age

Question#2 Nabataea Nabateans controlled the trade ways for thousands of years but never revealed their sources We therefore can only speculate weather they had child labour or not

Question#2 Rome At this time though the roman empire was at the height of its slave trade, that means child labour Children could be sold on the market as easily as adults, but for more money Child cooks( most commonly girls) were the most valuable type of slave due to the fact many of their slaves were captured soldiers making a good cook valuable, and the importance of feasts

Question#2 Greece In Greece kidnapping was also a common way for a child to fall into slavery expensive young slaves would sell for about 10 minae (180 dollars) . but old cheap one for only half a minae (9 dollars) . in Greece girls were more valuable because they were normally the house hold slaves which were pricey and skilled. . the army and government services were often run by slaves

Question#2 Greece female slaves were often under sexual abuse between them and their mistresses because they both had the same sexual disadvantage in Greek society . female child slaves and there mistresses often went to religious temples together because the only public place woman are allowed is the religious temples

Question#2 Mesopotamia in Mesopotamia, there was another way to become a slave, criminals were often instead of jailed their sentence was to go into slavery. Also, if a father thought necessary they could send their wife a child into slavery to pay of dept.

3.What methods are used to uncover child labour, and how is it dealt with afterword’s?
