How to Animate an Object in PowerPoint You can animate sound recordings, text, and clip art or pictures. After you select your object, click on the Slide Show pull down menu and select Custom Animation Select your text box, sound recording, or clip art You have an object selected when the grab boxes show To animate the clip art of the singing girl… I selected Media 3 and the clip art is selected in the preview window Play around with the Effects and Sounds The Custom Animation Dialog Box tells which object to play first set the effects and sound of the objects set the start time and timings of objects click the timing tab Click animate, automatically, and choose 2-5 seconds Click OK
