3 Inserting Clipart Click on the insert menu. Move down to picture. Select the clipart option. The clipart gallery will open. You can select a category.

4 Inserting Clipart You can also search for a specific graphic. Once you have the graphic you like, click on it once and a menu will come up. The first choice inserts the graphic. The second choice gives you a larger preview of the graphic.

5 Examples of Clipart Graphics

6 Inserting a Scanned Picture You must first scan the picture and save it. Click on insert. Go to picture. Select from file. Browse to where you have file saved. Once you have file located, click on insert.

7 Inserting Pictures Taken With a Digital Camera Click on insert menu. Go to picture. Select from file. Browse to where you have picture. Select insert and your picture will placed.

8 Inserting Graphics from Internet After you have found the graphic on the Internet you want to save, right mouse click. Select save picture as option. Name your picture and select save location. Please remember the copyright issues we have discussed at TTL. Insert the picture as you would a picture from file.

9 Inserting an Internet Source Type in the address of the source you want to link to. Most machines will automatically hyperlink if you have the address correct. If not, highlight the words you would like to link. Right mouse click and select hyperlink. Type in the address to the site or source. Select Ok. Example www.deubrook.com

10 Inserting Movie Clip From Clipart Gallery Click on the insert menu. Select movies and sounds. Select from clipart gallery. Search and select with clip and insert same as clipart. Please remember that video will not animate until running presentation.

11 Inserting Movie Clip From File Click on the insert menu. Select movies and sounds. Select from from file. Browse to where you have clip stored and insert. Remember video will not animate until played. Please click on the penguin movie clip to play.

12 Inserting Sound from Gallery Click on insert menu. Go to Movies and Sounds. Select Sound from Gallery. This will bring up the sound gallery. Select the sound you like and insert. You have the choice of playing automatically or on click. Examples:

13 Inserting Sound with Animations Go to slide show menu. Select custom animation option. Make sure you have something selected in top window. Click on the effects tab. You must have an entry effect. Select a sound. Use for effect not on every line or word. Examples Sound with line of text. Sound with every letter.

14 Inserting Sound from File Click on the insert menu. Go to Movies and Sounds. Select Sound from file. Browse to where you have the sound file saved and insert. Please remember the copyright issues we talked about. Examples

15 Inserting Music from CD Track Click on insert menu. Select movies and sounds. Select play CD audio track. The dialog box will ask what track you want to start and end at. The dialog box also asks if you want to loop the sound. You must have CD in CD player in order for song to play. It will ask you if you want to play automatically or on click.

16 Inserting a Recorded Sound Click on insert menu. Go to movies and sounds. Go to record sound. You must have a microphone either external or built in to record sound. Press the red record button and record. When finished push blue stop button and OK and sound is inserted.

17 Now, go have fun adding multimedia to your PowerPoint slide show.
