Agenda Module 1: What are the iPad Courses? Module 2: Implementation Prerequisites for each Course Module 4: Notes and Dictation Module 5: New Users Class Module 6: Basic Skills Module 7: Coming up soon Module 8: Wiki Module 9: Q&A Here is the Agenda for today. We will first review and go over what the iPad Courses are, the Implementation for these courses, prerequisites for each course, an overview Notes and Dictation, an overview of Basic Skills which is a combination of the two courses that were offered last month in August, a look at what is coming soon, our wiki page, then a Q&A session.

What are the iPad Courses? Live mini trainings for the end users presented via a Lync Meeting. Estimated time of the different courses are 20-30 minutes, plus an open forum after. Two Courses on Tuesday One on Wednesday and Thursday iPad Courses have more specific topics than the general overview done during deployments. Learn@vamobile.us has been set as a contact specifically for the iPad Courses. So first off, what are these iPad Courses? These courses are going to be short sessions for the iPad users offered through Lync by clicking on the link in the notification. These courses are so users can understand their devices a little more and become more confident in using them. The courses are meant to be short; around 20 to 30 minutes with a 10 minute open forum afterwards that will be optional. Last month we had done one course for Tuesday through Friday, but due to low attendance on Fridays, we are going to offer them earlier in the week at a later time. The courses will be available twice on Tuesday and then Wednesday and Thursday. These courses are planned to be more specific than the general Deployment Trainings. Learn@vamobile.us is the email created specifically for these iPad Courses. Any questions pertaining to the courses should be directed to this email, or by calling into the Help Desk, 844-482-6624.

Implementation Training Dates for August Approximate Time Session Times for the Month of September Tuesday at 8 AM CST Tuesday at 4 PM CST Wednesday at 10 AM CST Thursday at 3 PM CST Training Dates for August Approximate Time Notes and Dictation Week of the 5th 25 Minutes New Users Class Week of the 12th 30 Minutes Week of the 19th Basic Skills Week of the 26nd 20 Minutes Users will hear about these courses by both email and a push notification sent to their iPad devices and VA email twice a month. Only users that are enrolled in Airwatch Agent will receive the invitation. Users that are not enrolled will not receive the invitation and will need to enroll to Airwatch Agent per VA policy. If users need assistance in enrolling their devices, please have them contact the Help Desk at 844-482-6624 and we will be able to assist them, that way they can receive the invitations for the courses. Each month, different iPad Courses will be offered. For the Month of September, the schedule is in the slide and will be in the invitation email. As you can see the courses will rotate weekly and different times will be offered through the week If you have recommendations about please email us at learn@vamobile.us All users that are enrolled will be contacted on September 6th and 19th, 2016 Classes will begin on September 6, 2016

Prerequisites for the Courses We recommend that each user performs a full sync in the Airwatch Agent application. This shows that the user is enrolled in the program and can successfully perform a sync with Airwatch Agent. VA policy recommends that users sync every 48 hours to remain compliant in the system to ensure patient safety and information. Users that cannot sync their device may not be able to perform all actions in the courses, but they can stay. We will ask them post their name and number in the chat and one of our technicians will reach out to them, either to help them enroll or troubleshoot accordingly.

Notes and Dictation Module 1: Prerequisites Module 2: Writing and Dictation Module 3: Editing a note Module 4: Syncing with iCloud Module 5: Q&A In the Notes and Dictation we will cover the Prereqs like in every Course just to check compliance with the VA policies, We will then dive into writing and dictation in the Notes App, editing a note, and then how to sync with iCloud.
