Additional Awards SWE Hall of Fame will launch in 2015 as part of 65th anniversary of SWE in Spring issue of SWE Magazine WE15 will introduce awards for Mentoring, Engineering Advocate (SWE Non Member) WE16 will introduce awards for “Rodney D. Chipp equivalent” and Global Team Accomplishments (SWE Non Member) Page 6

Next Steps Next two new awards to be included in Individual Awards Call for Nominations late this year Committee plans updates to section award process to incorporate new international/flexible focus, as well as adjusting requirements for individual award formal statements and letters of recommendation BOD is asked to provide Committee with any feedback on award packets/process Page 7

And… Awards & Recognition Committee Chair Maureen Masiulis gave birth to a baby boy on August 13… a week and a half early. Both mom and baby are doing well! (Many thanks to outgoing Chair Dayna Johnson for filling in!) Page 8
