ISKN – Information Systems of Cadastre of Real Estates Edited by cadastral workplaces Contains full history ISKN and ISÚI share some common data (Buildings, etc…) ISÚI - Information System of Territorial Identification Edited by municipalities, construction offices, … Contains full history 20.4.2016 MIG-T face-to-face meeting ISPRA

MIG-T face-to-face meeting ISPRA RÚIAN – Register of Territorial Identification, Addresses and Real Estates Up-to-date data only Public Administration is obliged to use this data On-line linked to the source databases Solution for INSPIRE and other services 20.4.2016 MIG-T face-to-face meeting ISPRA

Why is the Situation of ČÚZK specific Newly (2012) established RÚIAN database (Registry of Territorial Identification, Addresses and Real Estates) contains „Cadastral Parcels“, „Addresses“, „Buildings“ and „Administrative Units“ themes. duty to harmonize data and run harmonized download services quite early (2012 for Annex I, 2015 for Annex III). RÚIAN data is Open Data - available for everybody free of charge with no restriction for using it. INSPIRE download services for these themes (subset of RÚIAN data) are available for free. Digital Cadastral Maps are available for free. 20.4.2016 MIG-T face-to-face meeting ISPRA

View and download services Workflow - INSPIRE Viewing Cadastre Application Source INSPIRE View and download services 20.4.2016 MIG-T face-to-face meeting ISPRA

MIG-T face-to-face meeting ISPRA What are we running INSPIRE harmonized services: View : „Cadastral Parcels“ (since 2011), „Addresses“, „Administrative Units“ (since 2013), Buildings (since 2015) Download: „Cadastral Parcels“ (since 2012), „Addresses“, „Administrative Units“ (since 2013), Buildings (since 2015) both WFS 2.0.0. and pre-prepared data sets (GML 3.2.1) Special (national) services: View service for the cadastral map (since 2008) National extensions (UX) for the AD and AU themes RÚIAN exchange format Cadastral exchange format 20.4.2016 MIG-T face-to-face meeting ISPRA

Principles of documentation in ARE3NA 20.4.2016 MIG-T face-to-face meeting ISPRA

Implementation of Buildings in ČÚZK 20.4.2016 MIG-T face-to-face meeting ISPRA

Experience with the operational run View services – constantly growing demands 400 paralel users in rush hours 278 thousand visits, 81 thousand unique IP addresses monthly 781 GB data amount of download per month Viewing Cadastre Application – the most frequently visited czech governmental web page 3 000 paralel users in rush hours 2.4 mil. visits, 460 thousand unique IP addresses monthly 5 000 GB data amount of download per month Consumes 23% of view services Download services Still „starting“ due to RÚIAN exchange format 20.4.2016 MIG-T face-to-face meeting ISPRA

WMS – Average Monthly Demands 20.4.2016 MIG-T face-to-face meeting ISPRA

Why Download Services are not used so often RÚIAN exchange format is more convenient for downloading of the pre-prepared data sets, as it contains more information (slowly getting better after „Buildings“ theme services has been launched – 10/2015) We provide RÚIAN exchange format since 2012 in GML 3.2.1 (no flattening), SW companies has found solution very fast Users are testing the availability and reliability of the on-line download solution All SW companies are not prepared for the WFS 2.0.0 on the client side. 20.4.2016 MIG-T face-to-face meeting ISPRA

Side Effects of the On-line Solution Bright side: On-line services (especially WMS) are used by a number of applications (both internal and external) As no registration is required, they are „easy to use“ Dark side: Difficulties with edge-matching on the state borders It is not possible to guarantee availability and responses for free services and applications 20.4.2016 MIG-T face-to-face meeting ISPRA

MIG-T face-to-face meeting ISPRA Operational Aspects Serious obstacles has been caused mainly by the Viewing Cadastre application The most serious cases: March 2008 January 2014 20.4.2016 MIG-T face-to-face meeting ISPRA

Main news in the Czech TV 20.4.2016 MIG-T face-to-face meeting ISPRA

MIG-T face-to-face meeting ISPRA Conclusion ČÚZK has a long time experience with serious operational run of network services The real need of view INSPIRE services is much higher than how it is defined by IR. It is difficult to use free services for guaranteed applications. Our office is (almost) finished the INSPIRE implementation, but we can see new tasks: ATOM in a pilot run Permanent Identifiers (PIDs) and Linked Open Data „History“ into the Publication database Extensions and national services Reconstruction of the Publication database after Czech cadastral maps will be fully digitized (2017) …. 20.4.2016 MIG-T face-to-face meeting ISPRA
