Daily sharing of stories and poems. Writing name, labels, captions, lists, sentences and stories. Reading books including stories, non-fiction and poetry. Daily phonics: Phase 3 sounds. Counting in 1s, 2s and 10s. Number recognition and ordering. 1 more than and 1 less than. Addition and subtraction by counting on and back. Naming and talking about the properties of 2-d and 3-d shapes. Size, length, weight, capacity and time. Personal, Social and Emotional Communication and Language Physical Development Following rules and routines. Developing listening skills and concentration. Relationships- Talking about our friends and families, our feelings and things that are important to us. Changes - Moving into the next year group. Listening to others and talking in sentences when answering. Talking about events in the past, present and future. Sharing news and retelling stories.
