Re-vamp of noticeboard Second-hand school uniform Newsletter January 2017 We need your help!!! There are changes to the FoHS committee! We are sorry to say that Becca Clarke will be stepping down with immediate effect, and Dave Smith, Bev Metcalfe-Heugh and Oya Emir-Wilson will all be stepping down at the end of the year. A massive thank you to Dave, Bev, Oya and Becca for all their hard work over the past few years. This means that we are actively looking for new people to join the committee from September 2017 (or before!). If you are interesting in joining the committee, then please speak to one of the Friends, or email us at FoHS@yahoo.com. We have ~4 meetings per year to plan events, and then host a number of events (film nights, discos, fetes) throughout the year to raise funds for the school. We currently help fund the school music lessons, the Christmas pantomime tickets and the Year 6 leavers gifts, and in previous years have bought the school stage and equipment for the trim trail. If anyone has the skills to repair it and give it a new lease of life and is willing to take on a project, then please let us know. If you have any school uniform you’d be happy donate for us to sell in order to raise funds, please bring into school during the week of the 13th March. Thank you!
