UNIFORM
It is important for children to attend school in the correct uniform and footwear.
If you are unsure of the correct attire please feel free to ask at the office or check the website.
We will shortly begin to run a uniform shop in the school hall each Monday before the end of school. This will be so parents can begin to order uniform and look at the sizes.
Please keep an eye out for the dates.

We had a super session on Healthy Snacks!
It was lovely to see the parents and children enjoy making tasty and healthy food together.
Please remember next Wednesday 9th May we will be running a session for Eid decorations.
We hope you can join us please return you blue slip to the school office.

Please can all parents ensure they stay with their children in the playground until the bell sounds for the start of school. And also note children need to be collected at 3.20pm.

The Power of Reading
Reading is a really good way
that you can help your child’s
learning at home. Children who
read everyday, not only read well
and understand what they have
read, they can achieve and become
more confident in many other areas of the curriculum. Children who can read well are far more likely to achieve and do well later in life.
Families, please encourage your child to read home/school reading book each day and support this reading by commenting in their reading record..

We are proud of the children here at St Augustine’s and publish their work regularly on Pobble. Why not log on and have a look to see if your child’s work has been published:
We have now received a new delivery of school sweatshirts. These are from a new supplier and we are trialling a different blend of materials. These will be priced at £7.95 each for all sizes except Small Adult which is £8.95.
Please help us to get your Year 6 children ready for the SAT’s in May by ensuring they get to school on time and are present each day. Time off during this important period will only hinder their progression.
