Sharing Best Practices methods or techniques that consistently show results superior to those achieved with other means

But why share?!? New ideas Different Perspectives To Vent / Show Off Part of NCTA's Mission: Advance collaborative efforts among testing professionals, testing companies, and other policy-making agencies

Best practices in sharing…. Talk to people. Lots of people. Ask questions. Actively listen. Trade email addresses with coworkers and colleagues. Join the NCTA listserve. Go to conference. Make new resources (friends). Come to KATAC!

Now let’s move!

Groups of 4 – 6 people Share a difficult situation that you successfully managed. (cheating, ID’s, parking, tech support, etc.) Focus on the positive solution! Pick ONE from your group to share with everyone.

Sharing vs. Venting Sharing venting Welcomes feedback and advice. Generally with other professionals at our schools or in testing. Lets off steam. Can be to friends, family, co-workers, or anyone. Always be mindful of the confidential nature of the work we do. Both Sharing and Venting are important!

Let’s wrap it up! Any questions?
