Vhat is a Verb? A word used to express an action, a condition, or a state of being. Three Different Kinds of Verbs Action verbs Linking Verbs Helping Verbs

Action Verbs A verb is used to express an action, condition, or a state of being. An Action Verb tells what the subject does. Marlin and Dori looked for Nemo Nemo tried to escape from the fish tank.

Compound Verb A compound verb is made up of two or more verbs that have the same subject. The jellyfish sting ached and pounded. The sea turtle gave advice and provided directions to Sydney.
