Unit4: Present Perfect Tense Perfect Present Tense Irregular verbs Actions that have already occurred Actions that haven’t occurred yet

Perfect Tense The Continuous Tense describes an action in progress Example: “I was/am/will be cooking lunch.” The Perfect Tense is the opposite The Perfect Tense describes an action that has been completed Example: “I have cooked lunch.”

Perfect Present Tense The Perfect Tense can be Past, Present, or Future The Perfect Present Tense describes an action completed in the past, from the present (NOW) time. Example: “I have cooked lunch.” Sentence Structure: Pronoun + Auxiliary Verb + Past Participle Verb I + have + eaten steak. He + has + played football.
