2 What is Simple Present? Simple Present is used for daily routines or habits. It is used with words such as: always, sometimes, often, hardly ever, usually, generally, etc. I always play football They generally do exercise on the weekend Do you usually eat healthy food? She doesn´t like fruit and vegetables. The verbs Like and Love are always used in the SIMPLE PRESENT

Subject + action verb in present tense + complement She doesn´t study at night Subject + dont / doesn´t + base form verb + complement Does he eat fruit at lunch? Do / Does + subject + base form verb + complement + ?

4 What is Simple Past? Simple Past
Expresses an activity that occurred at a specific time (or times) in the past (sometime before now) Simple Past uses words such as: last night, yesterday, in 1999, last year, last month, last weekend, etc. you / last year / Did / go / to the beach / ? Did you go to the beach last year? I played football last night.

5 What is Present Continuous?
The Present Continuous is used for actions that are happening at the moment. It is used with words such as: right now, at the moment, now, this week, these days, this month, etc. I am doing karate this month. She is playing football right now. Are they eating junk food these days? They aren´t drinking diet drinks at the moment

6 What is Past Continuous
Past continuous is an action that began and ended in the past, the only thing is that the action was in progress. Simple past is an action that started and ended in the past. We use When and While when we want to connect the Simple Past and Past Continuous. The adverb WHEN is used with Simple Past. The adverb WHILE is used with Past Continuous.

What is the Present Perfect? The present perfect expresses an activity that happened in the past, but we don´t know when it happened. (Not Specific) Present Perfect uses adverbs such as: always, just, ever, never, already etc.

The Present Perfect is formed with the following words: Subject + have / has + VERB in Past Participle. I, YOU, WE, THEY, + HAVE + VERB in PAST PART. They have eaten OR, HE, SHE , IT + HAS + VERB in PAST PARTICIPLE She has played

9 What is Present Perfect continuous?
What is the Present Perfect Continuous? This tense is to indicate the duration of an activity that began in the past and continues to the present. When the tense has this meaning , it is used with time words, such as FOR and SINCE, all day, all week, lately, etc. Formula. I, you, we, they + have + been + verb (ing) You have been running since 8 o´clock. he, she, it + has + been + verb (ing) Luisa has been studying for 3 hours.
