What is Present Perfect Tense We use Present perfect to talk about actions has started in the past and have finished recently. Actions in the past and have ended recently I have finished my homework.

5 We can use Present Perfect in different situations such as:
To talk about actions take long time in the past I have been a teacher for more than ten years. We haven't seen John since Friday. How long have you been at this school?

6 To talk about a past actions that ahs the result in the present
Past (Result) I have lost my book = (I don't have it now) Sami has gone to Australia = (He isn't here now) Have you finished your homework? = (your homework ready)

to talk about experiences. It is not important if we have done them in our lives or not. (unspecific time). Past (done) I have travelled to Jeddah two times. Past (Not done) Jack has never broken a leg. Past (done) or Not done Have you ever eaten sushi?

8 We haven't seen John since Friday.
Tip! We often use since and for to say how long the action has lasted. We haven't seen John since Friday. We haven't seen John for two days.

Tip! We often use just, already and yet with the Present Perfect Tense for an action in the past with the result in the present. I have already found my book I have just found my money  I haven’t found my wallet yet

10 Jack has never broken a leg.
Tip! We often use never and ever with the Present Perfect Tense to talk about experience. Jack has never broken a leg. Have you ever eaten sushi?
