Homework Policy Main purpose is to check for understanding Practice for Mastery I do offer late work for my students 1st missed day=50% Please encourage them to finish missed assignments!! Homework Policy

Assessments I do exams every 1-2 chapters Will vary in style and amount (multiple choice, short answer, document analysis) Students may review their exam during my office hours I perform informal checks during class through partner and small group discussions Students are encouraged to come after school or during lunch to receive further clarification Assessments

Exams- 60% (includes midterm) Classwork/homework- 20% Final Exam- 20% Grading

Attendance Be on time Be there EVERYDAY Be Prepared 5 absences- parent notification 8 absences- warning notice 13 absences- loss of credit Attendance
