Give Respect to Get Respect for both myself and my students (this includes towards each other; my class will be a safe haven for learning)
Raise hands for questions and comments
Wait until a break to throw away trash, sharpen pencil, etc.
One student at a time for bathroom and water (need planner)
Questions about grades are for lunch, before and after school

Within two days=50%
Please encourage them to finish missed assignments!!
Students with an excused absence have two days for every day they were gone to make up an assignment

10. Assessments Exams are not an emphasis in this class
History is not evaluated well by memorizing dates and figures
Formal assessments = presentations, projects, class discussion, debates
Quizzes used to measure understanding between units

11. Grading
35% for Homework 10% for Quizzes 25% for Projects 15% for Midterm 15% for Final Grades will be updated at the end of every week

5 absences- parent notification
8 absences- warning notice
