10 Student Responsibilities
Stay Organized Be Prepared Put in Best Effort Be Accountable Check Team Assignment Document and Teams nightly for upcoming due dates.

11 Steps When Absent  1. Check the team assignment calendar to see what is being done in class and what's been assigned for homework. 2. Check Teams – anything posted there that has a matching title to the assignment calendar, complete it. 3. your teachers to let them know you've seen your work. Ask for clarification on specific assignments if needed. 4. When you get back to school, turn in any missing work with an absence slip filled out. 5. You have the amount of days you were absent plus 1 day to make up any assignments done while were out without penalty.

14 MATH Everyone can learn math to the highest levels
Focus on problem solving, making connections, communication, real life applications, and reflection Mistakes are valuable and questions are really important!!! High school content: Algebra and Formal Geometry End of Course Exams (15% of total semester grade) Quiz retakes and test corrections Class graph notebooks and Microsoft Teams will be utilized daily. On Teams you will find: *Class notes              *Keys                 *Objectives *Assignments             *Questions         *Learning resources    

15 Science 8th Grade Honors Biology (high school content)
Both Grade Levels 8th Grade Physical Science Grades are weighted as follows:  Assessments/ Projects: 60% Classwork/Labs: 30% Homework: 10% Final Exam 10% of semester overall grade Emphasis placed on the development of research and literacy skills, critical thinking skills, collaboration, developing and using mathematical models, and various lab techniques. Interactive binders will be checked throughout the year. Organizational system for students to keep work and use as a study tool. Mistakes are valuable and questions are really important. Test corrections can help students reflect and re-learn the content. Can earn ½ points back. Must be finished in time frame given and done on their own time. Teams and Class Notebook  Honors Biology (high school content) Final Exam 15% of semester overall grade Do not earn high school credit for this class.
