9 Homework Policy Incentives Missing Assignment
Homework builds responsibility, self-discipline and good time management skills. Occasionally golden raffle tickets may be handed out for homework completion. Incentives For each missing assignment students will receive an incomplete homework form that needs to be signed by a parent or guardian and returned the following day. Missing Assignment After three missing assignments, a phone call home to a parent or guardian will be made by the student. A plan will be considered. Three Missing Assignments If a problem with homework completion continues a plan will be put into place and will be closely monitored.

10 Absences What should I do when my child is absent? Absence
Do not worry Check my classroom web page. me. Exceeds 2 days, may request homework from the office. What should I do when my child is absent? Student is responsible for checking the absence folder and with their absence buddy once they return. Allowed one day per each day absence to complete and turn in assignment. Absence (Due to Illness) Must request homework five days prior to absence. Make-up work is due the first day of return. (Due to pre-planned Circumstances)
