Membership Requirements To be considered a full member of TPPTA, the following must be met: 3 General Body Meetings Attend 1 Volunteer/ Community Service event Dues: $10 for one semester OR $15 for the full year We are happy to accommodate schedule conflicts with the requirements!

Give kids sight day When: Saturday, October 29th, 2016 Where: Jefferson Medical College, Alumni Hall 10th & Locust Philadelphia, PA 19107 Hundreds of children will receive free eye screenings, exams, and glasses during Give Kids Sight Day. Volunteers are needed to make this event a big success! Young athletes: Special Olympics Looking for volunteers at the Columbia North YMCA location to help coach sports to children with disabilities. When: 12pm-2pm Saturdays from September 24- November 12 ( 8 consecutive weeks) Contact Britt Kleine: bkleine@specialolympicspa.org **Please note: if you have lived outside of PA within the past 10 years you will be required to complete finger printing at your own cost**

Peer and 3+3 mentor program Headed by Scott Weiss, we will be attempting to implement this program this semester Pairs underclassmen with an upperclassmen to aid in Professional topics (grad school requirements, shadowing, etc.) Academic topics (biology, kinesiology classes, study habits, etc.) Those upperclassmen who help may gain valuable leadership experience Interested?
